Hi, my name is Raven. I'm a medicine woman. What does that mean? It means I help people heal their physical and spiritual bodies. My main focus is on menstrual and reproductive health. This includes everything from hormonal balance, to painful periods, to depression, and hot flashes. I combine my studies in herbalism, womb massage, and spiritual healing with ancestral guidance, divination, and nutrition. This allows me to facilitate a very wholistic healing experience. My own experience in recovering from endometriosis brought me to a very clear understanding of the importance of spirit in the healing process. This could be in the form of self-care, ancestral guidance, plant spirit medicine, or sound therapy. In practice this allows me to formulate herbal remedies for the physical, emotional, and spiritual body. I was called to this path through my own healing process. Endometriosis occurs when the endometrial tissue that normally lines the inside of the uterus grows outside the uterus. It can cause mild to severe inflammation, bleeding, and pain during a persons cycle. For me the pain was crippling. After a very close brush with kidney failure (due to a birth control pill) I decided to heal myself naturally. During this time I studied and tried many different diets, started brewing my own herbal probiotics, studied herbs, practiced meditation, learned to heal past life traumas, and connect with my ancestors for spiritual and herbal guidance. I also got back to working with my dreams, a practice I started when I was 7 years old. My healing path brought me to studying Women's Herbalism and Ethnobotany program with clinical herbalist, Shelley Torgove. Within 6 weeks I left my herbal water kefir business in Fort Lauderdale and moved to Colorado to study. I studied the herbal traditions of the mountain west and learned traditional healing practices like ritual, ceremony, and womb Massage in Valladolid Mexico. Since then I've studied Kambo therapy in the Peruvian Amazon and plant spirit medicine with Michael Cottingham. This was followed by a 1yr herbal field study program. Over this 10 year journey I was able to go from 10 days of debilitating pain managed with narcotic pain killers to normal cycles managed gentle herbs. This is an extremely short and sweet version of my story. I could write volumes on the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual lessons I've learned over the last 10 years. I've seen and experienced the black hole of pain and suffering and the indescribable bliss of nirvana, what I've learned is that I am here to heal. I work with herbs, dreams, massage, and the ancestors to help women heal physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Find me on: Instagram Facebook
